What Registration Settings and Campaign Notifications are available in ANZ, Asia & ROI?

Option 1 - Text to Register

Participants text the campaign's url extension to a mobile number to fast track the registration process. They then click the link in the text they receive from GalaBid, to verify their phone number and complete any additional registration fields. In the GalaBid dashboard see the Useful Documents section for print friendly instructions.

Option 2 - Link or Social Media

Participants visit the campaign link on a browser and click register. There they can register using social media or, by completing the registration form.

Within the campaign's dashboard, in the top bar on the left hand side the campaign url is displayed. Click on the QR code to view and download the QR code which takes participants directly to the campaign's registration page. This is ideal for use at in-person events.

How do Participants Receive Campaign Notifications?

Campaign Notifications are handled differently depending on the campaign's registration settings. Here are four common scenarios:

1. Participants have the choice - Email or Phone Number

If a campaign is set up to allow participants to begin registration with either phone number or email (default registration settings) GalaBid will send notifications via email if email was entered first or by text if the phone number was added first.

If participants start with email they can also choose to receive messages including campaign notifications, by text message, instead of email.

They can also change their preference for campaign notifications, by visiting My Account > Account Details and checking or unchecking the box to choose email or text.

2. All Notifications via Text message

To force all notifications on the campaign to be sent by text message switch email to off. No email addresses will be collected and all notifications will be sent by text.

3. All Notifications via Email

To force all notifications on the campaign to be sent by email switch phone to off. No email addresses will be collected and all notifications will be sent by text.

4. Collect all phone numbers and emails and provide participants the choice of receiving notifications via text

Set phone and email to mandatory. Participants will be required to enter their phone number but they will only be required to verify their phone number if if they check the box to receive notifications via text message.
