Can I run a 50/50 raffle on GalaBid?

A 50/50 raffle's prize is built into the ticket price. The total amount earned by raffle ticket sales is split evenly between the winner and the raffle organizer.

On GalaBid the campaign administrator sets up the raffle and connects the raffle to a Stripe account to process the payments.

In the case of a 50 50 raffle the campaign administrator would receive all of the funds to the bank account associated with their Stripe account. They would then distribute 50% of the funds to the winner. The distribution of the funds is handled outside of GalaBid and must comply with local laws.

When setting up a raffle the campaign administrator is required to comply with local laws regarding games of chance, gambling etc. Please check with your local authority.
