Can Participants Donate to our Campaign at Checkout?

Donation Slider - New Feature

Your participants can donate directly to your cause during checkout with the GalaBid donation slider.

Note: You may need to upgrade to access this feature.

To enable or disable the donation slider on your campaign go to the 'Setup' tab on your dashboard.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, click 'Show Advanced Options' and then at the bottom of the page you will find the tick box for 'Enable Donation Slider'

Enable or Disable depending on your preference. If enabled your participants will have the option to make a donation when checking out. The donation will be in addition to their total owing for auction items, raffle and event tickets and buy now items, as applicable.

Note that if the only item on the participant's invoice with an amount owing is a donation, the donation slider will not be presented during check out.

If they would prefer to enter an amount instead of using the slider, participants can click 'Or enter a custom amount'

Any amount can be typed into the Donation Amount field.
