How can Participants Donate to our Campaign at Checkout?
Checkout Donation Component - New Feature
Your participants can donate directly to your cause during checkout with the GalaBid donation component.

Check out this video to see how the Checkout Donation works and how to enable and disable it. Alternatively, see the step by step instructions below along with an alternative user interface, using buttons instead of a slider, and including a round up option.
To enable or disable the Checkout donation on your campaign go to the 'Setup' tab on your dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, click 'Show Advanced Options' and then at the bottom of the page you will see 'Donation Component'
Use the dropdown to choose between two user interfaces - a slider or buttons, or, to disable the feature.
If the feature is enabled your participants will have the option to make a donation when checking out. The donation will be in addition to their total owing for auction items, raffle and event tickets and buy now items, as applicable.
Note: If the only outstanding item on the participant's invoice is a donation, the donation component will not be presented during check out.
If participants would prefer to enter an amount they can click 'Or enter a custom amount.'
Any amount can be typed into the Donation Amount field.
There are also other ways you can ask for donations or service fees once your campaign has closed.
