How do I delete a bid, donation or purchase?
If You are a Participant.
If you are participating in a campaign and would like to remove your bid, you will need to contact the host of the campaign you are taking part in and have them remove the bid from their dashboard.
You can contact the host by clicking the 'Contact Host' tab on the left side bar of campaign page.
Deleting Bids
Go to the Bids and Buys section, search the item or participant's name and delete the bid.
The underbidder, if there is one, will be listed as the highest bidder. Note that they will not be alerted by GalaBid that the are again the highest bidder. Communicate directly with them by searching their name in Participants and click on the speech bubble icon on the far right of the list.
If they are subsequently outbid they will receive an outbid notification.
Deleting Donations and Buy Now Purchases
If Pay now is switched on for your donation item or your Buy Now item, deleting the donation or the purchase will delete the transaction and refund the participant.
Go to the Bids and Buys section, search the item or participant's name and click Refund. Event ticket purchases can be refunded in the Ticketing & Check In Section.
Deleting Raffle Ticket Purchases
Go to the Bids and Buys section, search the item or participant's name and click Refund.
