How do I Display a Thermometer on my Leaderboard?
Thermometers are often included on auction leaderboards as a visual way to track progress towards a fundraising target.
Thermometers are also used on Donation or Pledge leaderboards to track the funds raised exclusively via donations items in the campaign. The default thermometer image can be replaced with any image.
To setup a thermometer to track progress towards a target go to the projector display tab on your dashboard and either create a projector or edit a pre-existing one.
Once on the edit page go to the tool bar and click '+Add' locate Thermometer and select 'Add Thermometer'.
Alternatively at this stage you can upload a custom image instead of a thermometer.
The next steps are customise your thermometer or custom image, add a target and select whether you would like it to monitor all funds raised or solely donations.
You can display the target for your thermometer using a text box, to add the text click '+ Add' on the tool bar locate 'Text' at the top of the bar, click '+ Add Text Box' and enter your target amount.
Once you have added your target amount you can then add the total raised to display at the bottom of your thermometer, to do this locate 'Total Raised' and click '+ Add Total Raised Counter' you can then filter which items on your campaign you would like the total raised counter to reflect.
When you have added both the target and the text box your thermometer will look like the image below.
